The name Karaya reflects our profound connection to our roots in the Dominican Republic. In the ancestral Taino (Arawak) language, “Karaya” is one of the names for the moon — a timeless symbol of transformation, mystery, and creative power. This name embodies the essence of our work: illuminating stories with beauty, intention, and imagination.
